Jane Darlene Swanson (72) of Erie, IL, passed away on Nov 8, 2023.
Jane was born on Dec 1, 1950 to Robert Trigg and Sarah Henderson (Darland) Swanson in Moline, IL. She was the youngest of four children. Jane never married. Jane held a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Degree from Columbus College of Art and Design, Columbus, OH. She was owner of Creativity Communications which provided graphics, design, creative writing, and digital photography for a variety of clients. Jane was an animal lover. She bred and raised many different animals but her first love was her dogs. Jane spent most of her life breeding/showing Smooth Fox Terriers. She traveled extensively showing and judging dogs. Her championship awards are too numerous to count. Jane was a talented designer and artist of several dog breed club magazines
In addition to friends, those left to honor Jane's memory are her sister Sarah Kathryn (Wayne) Alderson from Cherokee Village, AR, and Charles William (Patricia) Swanson from Davenport, IA, and several nieces and nephews
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Barbara Trigg Clauson, a niece and a nephew. Private services will be held at a later date.
