Richard 'Glenn' Rohwer
Richard G. "Glenn" Rohwer, 52, of Geneseo, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at Illini Hospital, Silvis.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church, Moline. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today at Vandemore Funeral Home, Atkinson, and one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials may be made to an educational fund for his daughter, Stephanie.
Glenn was born Feb. 12, 1950, in Moline, son of Richard C. and Jeanne Samuelson Rohwer. He was a graduate of Moline High School and Western Illinois University. He married Kathleen Leve July 28, 1973, in Bronx, N.Y.
He was currently a structural steel detailer for Rohwer Technical Service Co. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Moline, and a former Geneseo Band Booster. Glenn loved his daughter and computers.
Survivors (and spouses) are his wife, Kathleen; daughter, Stephanie Rose Rohwer, a junior at Luther College, Decorah, Iowa; his parents, Richard and Jeanne Rohwer, Moline; and sister, Sandy (Terry) Bender, Milan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; mother- and father-in-law, Rose and George Leve; and a sister-in-law, Annie Leve.
