Jeannie Pyles Leader
Jean “Jeannie” (Pyles) Leader, 72 of Aledo, died February 10, 2023, at Mercer Manor, Aledo. Private family services will be held in the spring when the family can celebrate Jeannie’s life outdoors.
Jeannie was born on May 4, 1950, in Davenport, Iowa to Francis & Dorothy (Eberhardt) Pyles.
Jeannie was a Moline native, graduating from Moline High School in 1968. She was an avid animal lover and friend to many. Jeannie worked for many years with her traveling petting zoo, her booth at the Rock Island County Fair, and with animals of all kinds. She loved the outdoors, horseback riding, fishing, and canoeing.
In death, Jeannie leaves daughter Tiffney (Brett) Hampton - Mueller; grandsons, Donny Wayne, Anthony and William; Granddaughter, Jessica; Granddaughter, Haley (Lucas) Matzen and children, Cora, Lucy, & Oliver; Granddaughter, Emily (Kyle) Turnbough; sons, Robert and Jason; significant other, Juan;and life-long best friend, Debbie Cabe. Jeannie was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer.

She will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
