Bruce A. Johnson
Bruce A. Johnson, 41, of 3909 5th St, East Moline, died Sunday, Oct. 6 1991.
Services are 7 p.m. Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. The body will be cremated.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
Mr. Johnson was born June 28, 1950, in Moline, the son of Theron and Katherine Coffin Johnson. He married Susan Poelvoorde Petrick July 7 1989, in Davenport.
He was a 1971 graduate of Augustana College.
He was manager of the General Merchandise Department, Eagle Food Store, Milan, where he had been employed since 1967.
He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, Rock Island.
He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Jana Johnson, Illinois City; a son, Erik Johnson, Illinois City; a stepdaughter, Heather Petrick, East Moline; a stepson, Justin Petrick, East Moline; his mother, Moline; and a sister, Jean Terry.
