Nancy M. Roraback
(July 26, 1950 - February 18, 2014)
Nancy Marie Roraback, 63, of Moline, IL, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014, at her home.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 22nd, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wendt Funeral Home in Moline. Services will be Sunday, February 23rd, at 12:00 noon, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery at 12:00 noon on Monday, February 24th.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Nancy M. Buckrop was born in Moline on July 26, 1950, to Roy and Mildred (Henderson) Buckrop. On July 27, 1969, she married Ron Harness, who died July 27, 2006. On May 29, 1999, in East Moline, she married John Roraback, who died August 13, 1999.
Nancy graduated with the Moline High School Class of 1968, and attended Blackhawk College. She did clerical work for several businesses in the area. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, of Gilda's Club, the Preservation Society, the 4-H Club, and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. She enjoyed horses, birdwatching, gardening, puzzles, drawing, cooking, dancing and singing. She most especially loved her family!
Survivors include, sons Shane and Seth Harness, both of Moline; a sister Carol DeVoss of Russellville, KY; a brother Gary Buckrop of Rock Island, IL; grandchildren Zachary, Ashley, Kylie and Lilly Harness; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands and her parents.
